Learning to stand up alone

Connor is now learning to stand alone. He can couch surf and no longer walks on the side of his feet ( this makes me happy). He is into everything now and requires constant watching if he is not in his play pen. We have noticed that he is now starting to let go as he is standing up. He is horrible hard to feed anything too unless he can feed it to himself. He is 10 months and no teeth so our options for food are limited at this point. On vacation we discovered that he love to eat sand,hmmm yummy.

So Connor has finally figured out how to transition from his army crawl drag to a sitting position all on his own. I think we are headed into a world where he is going to be hard to contain. This morning he was lying on the floor playing with his toys I went to put a load of laundry in and when I returned he was sitting up grinning the biggest grin at me, I think he felt very accomplished, but it actually startled me a little. I am starting to realize that I had better enjoy all these great babies first moments because I have a feeling by the time he is twelve he's going to tower over me.

Well my little man has yet to master the art of the crawl, his interpretation is more of a drag. When I say drag I mean drag. :) He does not army crawl like Max did (which looked really cool), no my son does a help I've fallen and I can't get up drag. I love it though, it makes me giggle. One great thing is that he has started to get on all fours quite a lot recently and rocks back and forth. I thought this was wonderful until he started to get mad about it, then I realized he kind of crawls backwards and has no idea why he is not getting closer to where he wants to go. Man I sure am happy to know how to walk already.

My New Camera

Just Thought I would post a couple of new pictures of Connor we took with our awesome new camera. He is 8 month old and 15 days and such a big big boy.

So my cute little man has taken his first big boy bath, and has discovered that he can splash. Let's just say I am not sure who was more wet at the end of bath time. I think I have a fearless child.

It's just the beginning

Well, I happened to be a little jealous that my sister in laws are blogging, so I thought to myself why not start one myself. They are so cute and I can give updates on my lovely little boy which I so enjoy doing. So I was cleaning the house as my little man takes his nap, and yes I was captured and trapped by this darn computer and the fact that I was thinking, hmm I wonder if Sharla has blogged again .Darn you Sharla you have lured me into your cyber world and I can't get out.
